Keeps on going the collaboration between NCS | Newcast Services and Polimi Motorcycle Factory
Polimi Motorcycle Factory is the team born in 2015 from the idea of five students from the department of Mechanical Engineering of the Politecnico in Milan, with the aim of participating at MotoStudent.
NCS experience in Moto2 and in other international championships, the usage of avantgarde technologies and the innate passion for automotive brought NCS to support this project. NCS is official partner of Polimi Motorcycle Factory for the realization of the final prototype.
By means of the more advanced technologies such as 3D printing, NCS cooperated with the team during the structural realization of frame and swingarm both made of carbon fiber.
As Marcello Fantuzzi , Technical Director & President of NCS | Newcast Services says:
“With the MotoStudent 2018 project with POLIMI we decided to increase the level of the competition prototype. With all the technologies available in NCS we gave the engineers team complete freedom of thoughts. The result is a high value one, as always.
Thanks to XtremeHS+ technology we realized all the aerodynamic and structural parts of the motorcycle.”
What is Motostudent?
A real race, a real championship, a challenge between teams made up of university students from all over the world.
The students’ aim is to use competences learnt during their studies and challenge themselves in a real industrial project prom the design until the production of a prototype. The final prototype of a real racing bike will be pushed to the test and evaluated ate the Motorland Aragòn FIM Circuit.
The race is becoming more relevant year after year both at a university level but also for the motorcycling sector too. More than 1500 students from more than 50 different universities in the world are involved.

Continua anche nel 2018 la collaborazione fra NCS | Newcast Services e Polimi Motorcycle Factory
Polimi Motorcycle Factory è il team nato nel 2015 da un’idea di cinque studenti di Ingegneria Meccanica del Politecnico di Milano, con l’obiettivo di prendere parte a MotoStudent, la manifestazione a loro dedicata.
L’esperienza di NCS nei campionati Moto2 e altre competizioni internazionali, l’impiego di tecnologie all’avanguardia e la passione innata per l’automotive hanno spinto l’azienda a supportare a pieno questo progetto ed essere il partner ufficiale del team per la realizzazione del prototipo ufficiale.
Utilizzando le più avanzate tecnologie di stampa 3D, NCS ha collaborato con il team nella realizzazione di carene, airbox e il rivestimento strutturale di telaio e forcellone in fibra di carbonio.

Con la tecnologia di XtremeHS+ abbiamo realizzato tutto il comparto aerodinamico e strutturale della moto”
Che cos’è il Motostudent?
Parliamo di una vera gara, un vero campionato, una sfida fra i team universitari di tutto il mondo.
L’obiettivo per gli studenti è quelli mettere “in pista” le competenze acquisite nel proprio percorso academico e cimentarsi in un progetto industriale a 360 che parte dalla progettazione, fino alla produzione di un prototipo di moto da corsa reale che sarà valutato e testato nel Motorland Aragòn FIM Circuit.
Con più di 1500 studenti partecipanti, 50 Università provenienti da tutto il mondo Motorstudent sta diventando sempre più una manifestazione importante in ambito motociclistico ed universitario.

NCS | Medical Devices will be attending the Nice Shoulder Course 2018
NCS | Medical Devices will present its products for rotator cuff repair, and all participants will have the opportunity to get a hands-on experience of our Taylor Stitcher™ through the use of the Dexter™ simulator.
With our strong commitment to helping surgeons improve patients’ lives, we will be exhibiting some of our latest discoveries.
Our SHOULDER PACEMAKER™ will be on display which is a wearable device that measures, defines and objectifies the scapulo-thoracic rhythm leading to better diagnosis, treatment and understanding of these movements. A must see!
NCS Lab has an amazing background in research and is keen to learn about market needs in an endless attempt to innovate and improve the status of the art of the procedure.

Il 6 giugno 2018 prenderà il via la 4ª edizione del Salone dell’Auto di Torino al Parco Valentino: l’esposizione all’aperto, lungo i viali dello splendido Parco del Valentino, ha un calendario ricco di eventi, statici e dinamici.
NCS | Newcastservices sarà presente con KITE il dune buggy che corre sulla sabbia…e sull’acqua!
KITE, ideato dagli studenti IED in collaborazione con Hyundai è un vero e proprio gioiello di design il cui prototipo in scala 1:1 è stato realizzato da NCS | Newcast Services

On 6 June 2018 the 4th edition of the Turin Motor Show will kick off at the Valentino Park: the open-air exhibition, along the avenues of the splendid Parco del Valentino, has a calendar full of exciting events.
NCS | Newcastservices along with KITE will be present a custom made dune buggy that runs on the sand…and on the water!
KITE, conceived by IED students in collaboration with Hyundai, is a true jewel of design whose 1:1 scale prototype was made by NCS | Newcast Services
